GENERAL QUESTIONS
Why a murder mystery?
Create a lifelong memory as a crazy made up character in a murder mystery dinner. You won’t believe how much fun it can be for
Do I play a part in the mystery?
YES! In our mystery dinners, everyone plays a vital role, you may even by the murderer! There are NO paid actors.
How do I know who my character will be that I will be playing?
We will assign characters for our public mysteries, for our private mysteries we will give the characters for one person to assign to the group. We will give you information that will include character description, costume suggestions and background for the story. We generally send this information out one to two weeks before the mystery.
How much does it cost?
$40 per person for either a public or a private mystery party.
What does the cost include?
The mystery, catered dinner, taxes and awards
Do I have to put down a deposit?
YES. We ask for a credit card to reserve a spot at our mystery party OR $20 cash non-refundable.
If you cannot make it or do not show up we will charge your card $20 per person. You must let us know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid this charge. All parts are vital to the mystery and we will have to find a replacement.
I would like to have a private mystery party, how many people do I need and how far in advance do I need to book?
We need at least 8 people and no more than 30 (17-30 people we must do a mix and mingle style). We book out up to 3 months in advance and as little of time as 2 weeks based on availability. We require a minimum deposit of $160.00 AND payment from 1 person.
Do you serve alcohol?
No. We do not serve alcohol. If you choose to drink, you must bring your own. We cannot be responsible for any actions of any guest for any reason. Please let us know in advance if you would like to drink the night of the mystery.
What time do the mysteries start and do I have to be on time?
Our mystery party start at 6pm. We ask that guest arrive no earlier than 5:45 and no later than 6pm. Timing in a mystery is very important!!! Please make arrangements to be on time prior to the night of the mystery.
MYSTERY
Do I have to dress up?
YES! The more dressed up and into character you are the more fun it will be for you and everyone else! We assign you a character and ask that you come dressed as that character.
Can you tell me how the mystery will flow?
Generally, we will meet and get to know each other who are you and why is your character here? Something may “happen” then we have to figure out what is going on, and really get to try and figure out who is who. An investigator may show up to help with the mystery, maybe a coroner or medical examiner and possible a lawyer.
What are the prizes?
We generally have an award for the best dressed, the best “inn” character and of course if you figure out who did it!

Are the mysteries for children?
We do have a few mysteries for children that do not involve murder. Call us to ask for more details
